Design Topic: Siamese Cultural Experiential Hub
Location: Lot 20013, Jalan Ampang, Desa Pahlawan, 55000, Kuala Lumpur
The Siamese Cultural Experiential Hub is built to create awareness about the existence of Malaysian-Siamese and promoting the culture by allowing everyone to be able to learn the culture of Malaysian Siamese through face-to-face interaction from performing arts, cultural experiential learning, gastronomical and martial arts.
The Siamese Cultural Experiential Hub is designed with the fusion of Siamese architecture and Malaysian architecture. The proposed building is designed in a way where it cater the Malaysian Siamese community and at the same time suits the Malaysian culture. Focusing on the tangible and intangible cultural where it branches out to cultural art, religious and craft, this proposed building design concept is ‘diamond’ where it is derived from all the patterns of each category.
