Nazan Fikret was born in the UK to Turkish and Irish parents. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Penelope Mackay and later Yvonne Kenny. Nazan is a 2015 Making Music AYCA Winner, Concordia Foundation Artist, a Britten Pears Young Artist and a recipient of an International Opera Awards Bursary
Recent highlights include First Lady TheMagicFlute(Welsh National Opera); Queen of the Night Die Zauberflöte (Glyndebourne, Opera på Skäret, Garsington Opera); Elin Agreed, a new community opera (Glyndebourne); acclaimed performances as Anne Trulove TheRake’sProgress, Teofane Ottone and Blonde The Abduction from the Seraglio (English Touring Opera); and Arasse Siroe,redePersiaand Handel’s Messiah(Nederlandse Reisopera). This season she made her debut at Opera North and Opera Poznań as Queen of the Night

Korean soprano Binny-Supin Yang is a recent graduate of the Opera Course at the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with Mary Nelson and Jonathan Papp. She is generously supported by the Academy Bicentenary Scholarship and Hyundai Motor Chung Mong-Koo Arts & Culture Foundation and is currently based in the UK.
On the operatic stage she has appeared as Königin der Nacht DieZauberflöte under the baton of Olivia Clarke, Gretel HänselundGretelunder the baton of Johann Stuckenbruck, Emmie Albert Herring under the baton of Geoffrey Paterson; Dalinda Ariodante under the baton of David Bates, and scenes as Madame Herz DerSchauspieldirektor and Blonde DieEntführungausdem Serail, under the baton of Peter Robinson – all while at the Royal Academy of Music.
Scottish mezzo soprano Lauren Young is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) Alexander Gibson Opera School and an inaugural studio artist at the Mascarade Opera Studio in Florence. She is also a Britten Pears Young Artist and recipient of an Independent Opera Voice Scholarship and Fellowship. Earlier this year she was a semi-finalist in the 42nd Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition.

Monwabisi Lindi Monwabisi Lindi was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa where he studied with Pierre du Toit at the Tshwane University of Technology, he is also a recent graduate of the National Opera Studio. During the covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020 he was awarded a tenor prize in the VoicesofSouthAfrica singing competition.
During the 2023/24 season he was an Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera, where he performed Zweiter Schäfer Daphne and Gastone La traviata He also covered Count Almaviva, performing the role in Access performances of The BarberofSeville
Other engagements include Charles Edward, covering the title role Candide (Scottish Opera); Lord Chamberlain The Spectre Knight (Wexford Festival Opera); and Vitellozzo LucreziaBorgia (English Touring Opera). He has also covered Chevalier Belfiore IlviaggioaReims(English Touring Opera); Elvino Lasonnambula(Buxton International Festival); and Policeman/Congregant 2 Blue(English National Opera).
British baritone Felix Kemp is a former Britten Pears Young Artist, Momentum Emerging Artist, finalist at the 2021 London Handel International Singing Competition, and in the 2022/23 season made his debut at the Royal Ballet & Opera in DonCarlo
Among his recent highlights are Adham in the world première of Will Todd’s Migrations(Welsh National Opera); Dick Dewy in the world premiere of Paul Carr’s Underthe GreenwoodTree, Papageno TheMagicFlute (Dorset Opera Festival); Pilgrim Britten’s Curlew River(Aldeburgh Festival, filmed for BBC broadcast); and Falke Die Fledermaus (If Opera). Recent concerts include Zelenka Lamentations of Jeremiah with Ensemble Diderot at the Chapelle Corneille and Kölner Philharmonie.
Lyric bass Trevor Eliot Bowes was born in Victoria, Canada and studied at the University of Toronto, the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Britten-Pears Young Artists Programme and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He is also an alumnus of Barbara Hannigan’s Equilibrium Young Artist programme.
