School
The main objective is to create a child-friendly school environment with excellent communication facilities for 800 pupils. This hexagonal classroom includes a wall that acts as a blackboard, two vertical and horizontal communications for easy scribbling, and sound-only vertical communication, resembling walkie talkie. There is also a circular space inside classrooms to facilitate communication with other classrooms.

Imaging Beyond Dystopia
This exercise is about conivial and non convivial spaces ,Here,a war where soldiers attack a city, prompting the inhabitants to build cube-shaped houses for safety. While the people inside the boxes feel secure, they find the space to be non-convivial due to the lack of natural light. On the other hand, the soldiers waiting outside feel suffocated due to the heat and climate, making the space non-convivial for them as well. The model proposes that spaces can be made convivial for people inside by providing natural sunlight. This implies that natural light plays a crucial role in creating a comfortable and inviting space for people.

The concept is about a historical site that has become a tourist attraction. Visitors come to see the remains, and there is a first floor market runs by habitants nearby. The market can be beneficial during the time of COVID-19 as it can provide a safer shopping experience by reducing the proximity of shoppers. it can offer a new experience to visitors, which can enhance the tourist spot’s appeal.

This housing project near the river gives a clear directionality and two large courtyards surrounded by historical remains. An open space and activity generator is created through and vertical connection that runs through houses, terraces, and courtyards, providing residents with a unique and functional living environment.

The exercise explores the relationship between Land and Social space in urban areas, with a focus on understanding the necessary amount and the quality of space.
To understand the density and intensity in every floor. Finding the open space in a vertical buildings.

Reimaging urban area
The need is to create an open environment for people and wildlife, while also promoting education through a learning community and street design. This will involve educating the not only students also all users in art and cultural form, and providing an open space for community learning. The illustration speaks about the need of the people.

The street design aims to provide comfort, promote social interaction and community engagement. The street serves as a connection point, allowing people to easily access each other and the surrounding environment. The street acts as a bridge, fostering communication and bringing people together around issues or ideas. Learning centers, including daycares, environmental learning centers, and cultural workshops, are strategically placed around the street to promote education and community building.
Workshops based on local culture like fishing techniques, art, and carpentry are learned from neighourhood people.
A place where humans can interact with elephants, dogs, and other animals and learn some unique qualities.
Entry and exit points, food points, view points and open spaces impact the functionality and livability of a space.

Expressing Music in 2D and 3D
This 2D graphic exercises were attempted with the basic component of music, tone, texture, dynamics and structure all under lying elements of a musical composition.representing it in a linear form. The larger idea in this exercise is to sensitise to the method of creative thinking with the help of a parallel art form and get them accustomed to differentiate between what is potentially figurative and abstract.

A joint studio programme with the students of Sathya Bhama University this exercise aimed at understand the elements of that composition and find analogy in materials and extrapolate the same in space to express in 3D the essence / visual character of the same. Intent: Visualization, texture, feel, arrangement in space. waste materials are re-used and recycled.

A clay model that was created while listening to music, highlighting the cultural connection between architecture and music in terms of elements such as rhythm, proportion, and harmony. we carefully carved the clay model and used various materials to create intricate details. The process involved molding, pouring clay, and precise carving after the clay had dried.

This self-study focuses on understanding surrealism, exploring examples such as an alien lady, and a recreation of Francisco Goya’s “Saturn Devouring His Son” painting. The study examines how surrealism operates in daily life and considers its essentiality.

As a part of the Architectural Drawing Course, the fundamental abstracts of Architectural namely plan, section, elevation were introduced through documentation and measured drawings of vennataragarai, heritage ghat structure on the banks of the Cauvery river. The padithurai on the banks of Vennar river in tanjore was built during the reign of the nayaks. The exact time period of construction is not clearly known. It was built for the purpose of commuting between the banks. The opposite bank also has a similar structure. The ornamentation was added to the structure on a later date by maratas. The padithurai was also utilised by the nearby temples for their rituals. It was also used as a resting place.

A hands-on workshop for the 20 students who participated. we were divided into two groups and tasked with building two different structures - a meditation hall with bamboo reinforcement and another structure made only of fibre, clay, and sand with no reinforcement. To build the dome made of fibre, clay, and sand, the students mixed a bucket of clay with twice the amount of sand, added some water, and mixed everything together using their legs (wearing shoe boots). They then added fibre to the mixture in a 1:2:3 ratio of clay, sand, and fibre, until they achieved a certain consistency that was suitable for building the dome. overall, we enjoyed the process of building the earthen domes and likely gained valuable knowledge and skills related to sustainable building techniques.

Participants learned about furniture prototyping using advanced wooden joinery techniques. Firstly, we were introduced to various types of joineries, such as butt, half lap, and tongue and groove, and practiced making them. Secondly, the we participants built a small seating chair using mortise and tenon joints. Finally, we constructed a Chandigarh chair designed by Le Corbusier and a red and blue chair of the De Stijl movement, gaining a deeper understanding of wood. Overall, the workshop provided valuable insights into advanced wooden joinery techniques, furniture design, and the properties ofwood.
