Globalisation is a theory, not a fact, serving mostly to justify the spread of (mostly American) capitalism across the world.
Globalisation is defined as the process of international integration arising from the interchange of world views, products, ideas and other aspects of culture. The ethos of this concept is to encourage business, culture and help other organizations to develop international influence or start operating on an international scale beyond the boundary constraints. But the question arises here, is globalization just a theory or an existing fact which is suppose to benefit other countries, whereas, on the contrary, it is responsible for spreading mostly American capitalism across the world. In the debate, where the statements were presented for and against the topic, some significant points came into light. Is the effect of globalization on other developing countries positive or not. India, initially being a poor country is in the race of developing countries and is extensively affected by American spread globalization. Be it culturally, politically or economically. The discussion was aimed to apprehend the outcomes of globalization on India. India has eventually seen changes in its various aspects as globalization struck the country. Economically, India is growing and getting a global recognition and slowly moving towards to become a major economic strength. But in the discourse, it came out that though there is economic development and India is high on the GDP graph, still many basic problems like rural poverty, corruption and political instability remained unsolved, with cultural disparity being the vital issue, due to globalisation. The agriculture sector has been facing issues with the increasing globalisation in India. Its contribution to the country’s economy plays an important role. It
