On this auspicious day, the divine appearance day of Śrī Lalitādevī, His Divine Grace Om Viṣṇupād Śrīla Bhakti Rakṣak Śrīdhar Deva Goswamī Mahārāj had just finished writing the book Śrī Śrī Prapanna-jīvanāmṛtam, Life-Nectar of the Surrendered Souls. The crown-jewel of divine literatures as the eternal elixir of life for the exclusively surrendered souls. The bestower of the perpetual relish of full-fledged nectar, and the awakening and sustaining fountainhead of life in divine consorthood. In conclusion, he offered this prayer: गौराब्दे जलधीषुवेदववविते भाद्रे विता िप्तिी तत्र श्रीलवलताशुभोदयवदने श्रीिन्नवद्वीपके । गङ्गातीरिनोरिे नविठे चैतन्यिारस्वते िद्भिः श्रीगु रुगौरपादशरणाद्ग्रन्थिः ििाद्प्तिं गतिः ॥१६॥ gaurābde jaladhīṣu veda-vimite bhādre sitā-saptamī tatra śrī-lalitā-śubhodaya-dine śrīman-navadvīpake gaṅgā-tīra-manorame nava-maṭhe chaitanya-sārasvate sadbhiḥ śrī-guru-gaura-pāda-śaraṇād-granthaḥ samāptiṁ gataḥ [16] At the charming new Temple of the name Śrī Chaitanya Sāraswat Maṭh, situated on the banks of the holy River Gaṅgā, at Śrī Dhām Nabadwīp, and in the association of the devotees, in the shelter of the lotus feet of the Divine Master and the Supreme Lord Śrī Chaitanyadev this work was completed on the holy advent day of Śrī Lalitā Devī—the seventh day of the bright moon of Bhādra in the year 457 Gaurābda (7 September 1943). 2
