“Raw” features a wabi-sabi architectural style for interior design of a bedroom.
Wabi-sabi is a Japanese concept that celebrates the beauty of imperfection and impermanence.
In interior design, it refers to a style that embraces simplicity, natural materials, and an appreciation of the imperfect or the aged.
The perfect mix of traditional materials and modern design with earthy tones and natural wooden texture gives out calm and peaceful vibes by embracing simplicity, naturality, and the impermanence of all things.
Furniture Design as a part of interior. To combine it with the interior design style , i used materials like raw wood and jute that complimented my wabi-sabi style perfectly.
Wabi-sabi interiors are designed to be functional and uncluttered. So, by embracing simplicity, imperfection and mute colour palatte, i created a sense of tranquility.
This is a memorial for honored architect Charles Correa. It represents the mutual bond each of us share.
The entrance leads to empty wall through narrow ramp to the beautiful courtyard filled with nature. It stimulates the feeling of presence in absence.
Traditional vernacular material that captures the spirit of Goa connecting to the Kala Kendra, rectangular collonades, terrace and courtyard open to the sky are elements that will connect people to Correa through this design.

Landscape design
This project aims to give children a sense of ownness in the space they grow and play, all in the natural terrain.This design is also my imagination where i become a 5 year old again and jump from one hay stack to another. I feed my ducks and run with my puppies while eating the cucumber i planted myself.
Children are brought to the wilderness where they learn about different species of flowers, fruits, herbs, learn to co-exist with the animals, birds and fishes. They grow along with the plants they have grown and learn to love them all.
“Eco-librium” where plants, animals and human beimgs co-exist maintaining a natural ecosystem.
2022 | Koteshwor, Kathmandu

Located in Koteshwor, “Park in green” is a reimagination of overhed pedestrian bridge.
it is a design approach which encourages the growing bicycle culture of Nepal. It gives the experience of ride and walk in the wilderness. It not only provides bike lanes but also generates electricity using the energy producd and stored in bikes.
The design provides bike rental and exchange system.Elevated park space and water bodies provide the space to stop and rest for a while and forget the chaos of outside world.
The design details consist of vernacular bamboo structure and recycled materials merged with symmetrical yet fun geometry. Recycled waste is used as building, furnishing and finising materials. The facade is manually operable,flexible making the classroom without boundaries.
mezzanine space strengthens visual connection while maintaing private space. Changing class size creates fun yet need based design bringing the outside in or the inside out.

2019| Banepa,Kavre

A mixed used building aims to combine multiple functions together providing space for different kind of users under a single roof. Located in Banepa, Kavre, this design provides a breathable form of building with a waterfront as an escape from surrounding chaos.
This design serves as a shopping complex, waterfront eatery, wellness centre and residential area. The breakout roof garden seperates the commercial zone from residential area.
This design aims to provide ultimate shopping and eating experience at the outskirts of a waterfront.
2019 | Daapcha, Kavre

Mountain Architecture
As a part of bootcamp studio, we went to Daapcha, Kavre and stayed there for a week. Divided in a group of five, we mesured houses of Daapcha’s beautiful stretch and drafted technical drawings as a major project.
As second part of the project, we proposed various designs for Dapcha in the site of our choice. I proposed a multifunction community hall that served as a meeting space, library and play space, a traditional chiya ghar and a bhajan ghar.

Design Studio
Located in the riverfront of Sanagaun Lalitpur, site is a sloped terrain. The site faces south-east utilising maximum sunlight. The design consist of 2 types of apartment blocks and 4 types of housing units. The main concept of this design was to respect the site ,utilise maximum green spaces meeting the required number of housing units and providing necessary infrastructures for the users. Designing a housing in a sloped site was quite challenging.
