Site Description:

Located along the Manipal Lake in the city of Manipal, Karnataka, is the site of about 550 sqm.

Site can be accessed through the main road.

Section

The section of the house shows the connectivity between all the floors and the various heights of each floor.

The height of each floor is about 3m. Slabs are made of concrete with a thickness of about 150mm.

The living room of Aawas residence is a culmination of modern and traditional architecture. It opens to a courtyard on one end.

Bedroom

The bedroom of the residence has an adjoining bathroom. The house has a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 baths.

The kitchen and dining room of the residence form the heart of the house. This is the place where the family spends the most time. It opens to a courtyard and is ventilated by it.

The bathroom of the house takes its inspiration from modern interiors with green elements that add to the life in the space.

Texas Instruments Incorporated is an American technology company, that designs and manufactures semiconductors and various integrated circuits, which it sells to electronics designers and manufacturers globally

The design intent was to incorporate a modern commercial life balance with workstations, collab areas, meeting rooms and breakout spaces.
