Founded in 1934 and based in Brisbane, Squash Australia is the national governing body for squash, recognised by both the Professional Squash Association and the World Squash Federation.
We organise a packed calendar of professional tournaments and official events each year, showcasing talent from across the globe.
As Australia’s most successful sport at the Commonwealth Games (measured by medals won vs. available), squash continues to punch above its weight - earning two gold and one bronze at the 2018 Games alone.
Under the leadership of CEO Robert Donaghue (appointed in 2021) and a forward-thinking board, Squash Australia is spearheading a bold new era.
Once a household favourite in the 1980s and ’90s, squash is resurgingpowered by a global strategy from the PSA and its entry into the 2028 LA Olympic Games.
