SQUARELY COPENHAGEN is a Danish brand with an ambition to connect humans to nature through our Biophilic Design Solutions, in perfect harmony with the urban and natural world. SQUARELY combines greener, natural materials and Danish furniture design to create aesthetic and functional products. At the same time pushing the boundaries of eco-friendly designs through recycling and upcycling.

About us

The design and interior brand SQUARELY COPENHAGEN was created by architect Aga Jacobs, driven by a deep-rooted passion for connecting people with nature.

Based on a background of designing sustainable buildings, Aga has created a completely new product category,

furniture for plants, which is intended to complement architectural solutions and inspire a greener interior design.

Since 2017, SQUARELY COPENAHGEN has developed and produced high-quality wooden plant furniture, all equipped with unique, innovative self-watering technology.

Self-watering technique

SQUARELY COPENHAGEN features an intelligent selfwatering system that improves plant growth and saves time and effort in everyday life. A capillary mat ensures that the soil is constantly hydrated and prevents plants from drying out. All you need to do is water 3-1 times a month. This allows you to carry on with your busy life and still enjoy healthy, green plants in your home.

PLANT

Plant the plant directly into the top container of the capillary mat. The first time you water the plant, water it from the top.

WATER

Remove the magnetic wood lamella by the logo. Fill the bottom container with water. The capillary mat will absorb the water and adjust the watering based on the soil's moisture level.

ENJOY

When the bottom container of water is empty, refill it. Enjoy the benefits of your unique self-watering system.

Upcycled wood from Denmark

SQUARELY utilizes wood sorted out due to imperfections, amounting to approximately 7% of total wood production. While unsuitable for facade cladding, these planks retain excellent properties for SQUARELY products. We meticulously address any cracks, knots, and imperfections, ensuring a flawless surface finish.

A greener office

Triforks new office in Nordhavn, Copenhagen, embodies companies commitment to improving the world. It is constructed using sustainable materials. SQUARELY takes care of people and planet, by integrating nature to office spaces in smart-solutions, while reusing left-over wood. In this case SQUARELY’s planters offered as well the modularity, providing a flexible solution for welcoming spaces conducive to networking and creativity. These planters are strategically placed in common areas, serving as dividers and fostering relaxed environments for networking and dialogue.
