VLT RANGE
Visible Light Transmission (VLT) controls how much light reaches your eyes. The lower the VLT percentage, the darker the lens. On any given day on the water, choosing the right VLT can mean the difference between spotting a breezer early—or missing the shot completely.
Pro Watermen Tip:
If you spend 80% of your time offshore under full sun, start with 10–13% VLT mirrored lenses. If you fish transitional hours, carry a second pair around 18–20% VLT so you can pivot when the light changes.
