Youth Sports

These sports are designed to introduce and reinforce the basics of each sport as well as the components of physical activity and safety.

Pickleball Camp

Notes: We're hosting our second annual Fall Festival Cornhole Tournament on the Friday of Fall Festival weekend! Sign up a team and help us raise money for the Spring Hill Ruritans! The tournament format will depend on the number of teams signed up, but your team will be guaranteed 3 matches. The Ruritans beer garden will be available for the tournament.

Notes: The price of registration gets you and your kids transportation to the zoo and back and tickets into the zoo for the duration we are there. This is a family field trip, so every kid should have one parent/guardian signed up to come with us.

Murder Mystery Dinner

Registration Opens: July 28

Notes: This 1950’s prom is a doo wop disaster! When a death on the dance floor makes this prom night a party foul, it is up to you to figure out whodunit and get this dance back on track. Trade clues with your guests, gather information about the crime, and reveal the punk that made this prom nowheresville. This night of laughter and dancing is now too heavy to razz anyone’s berries, so it’s up to you to find the murderer!

Word from the bird is this is one show you will not want to miss. This night is shootin’ to be swell despite the disaster. Ladies, bows and pins in your hair will go nicely with your puffy sleeved prom gowns. Gents, you will look sharp in white and black suits or tuxes. Get ready to put on your thinking caps; you’ll need your wits about you to solve this crime.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Notes: All you have to do is snap a photo of your carved pumpkin and submit it for our contest! 1 submission per household; submissions can be made by emailing them to Jason at jasong@springhillrec.org, or by submitting them on our pinned Facebook post the week of the contest
