HARROGATE: 9-13 APRIL Kees Kraayenoord

He also leads Mozaiek Worship - training and equipping worship leaders to serve their local church.

SPOTLIGHT

Which three words best describe you?

In one phrase I’d say a homely, singing (grand)father!

Tell us about your favourite Spring Harvest moment so far?

In Skegness, we all started dancing for Jesus. However, it seems that the risers [the raised seating area] were not built for a dancing church. We’d often sing ‘This is Jesus’ and every time we shouted “everybody dance now” we were also told to shout “except on the risers”.

What are you looking forward to most at Spring Harvest 2022?

I can’t wait to hear more about church planting. Our church has been involved in this before but there is still so much to learn. I’ll come hungry and open to learn!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Years ago, I often found myself very tired and thought I just needed a break. However, a friend said: “Kees, you don’t need rest, you need peace!”

What is your favourite worship song at the moment?

‘Come Holy Spirit’ by Martin Smith.

Our theme for Spring Harvest 2022 is Restore, Renew, Rebuild – what do those three words mean to you?

Those three words sum up the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus, for me. We used to believe that the Gospel just meant about people’s salvation. While this is important, I’m continually learning that the church’s mission is to restore, renew and rebuild in order to see God’s Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!

I’m continually learning that the church’s mission is to restore, renew and rebuild.”

SKEGNESS 11-15 APRIL Sheldon Bangera

SHELDON BANGERA is a worship leader, songwriter, music composer and producer from Mumbai, India, and joined us at Spring Harvest Home ‘Unrivalled’.

From 2016 to 2018, Sheldon and his band travelled to more than a hundred cities in India by road, reaching out to half a million people as part of the ‘India On Wheels Tour’. Sheldon has travelled extensively across the USA but most recently joined for Spring Harvest 2021 online. His worship songs have been viewed over 33 million times on YouTube but his heart for ministry, evangelism and to see the Kingdom of God built is the focus of it all.

Which three words best describe you?

Music, mentoring and missions.

What are you looking forward to most at Spring Harvest 2022?

I am looking forward to seeing the whole church come together as one, irrespective of any denomination.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Focus on building people not stuff.

What is your favourite worship song at the moment?

‘Another In The Fire’ by Hillsong. I have witnessed God be with me in the most recent and intense fiery seasons lately.

Our theme for Spring Harvest 2022 is Restore, Renew, Rebuild - what do those three words mean to you?

These three words remind me of the truth that God always restores and makes greater than before, He always renews newer than brand new and rebuilds higher than what was previously standing. He never disappoints.

I am looking forward to seeing the whole church come together as one.” MINEHEAD 18-22 APRIL Us & Him

US & HIM is a worshipful space for people to disconnect from the noise of life and connect with God.

Started by Jake Isaac and Lucy Grimble as a response to the need for places of worship in the heart of busy London, they will bring their beautiful approach to worship to Spring Harvest 2022. We caught up with Lucy and asked her a few questions…

SPOTLIGHT

Which three words best describe you?

Creative, intentional and forgetful!

What are you looking forward to most at Spring Harvest 2022?

I’ve led worship at the last two Spring Harvest events which have both taken place virtually due to the pandemic. I’m really looking forward to coming safely back together and experiencing the full event in person!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

I’ve received so much great advice over the years! However, one of my favourite pearls of wisdom is that comparison is the thief of joy. It’s so important to not compare yourself and your journey with someone else’s - no two people are the same and we are all uniquely valuable. We need to remember to embrace and celebrate what God is doing in our life rather than wishing we were living someone else’s!

What is your favourite worship song at the moment?

I have loved leading ‘Living Hope’ by Phil Wickham – I love to sing about the power of the cross and the way that truth is expressed in that song is really powerful.

Our theme for Spring Harvest 2022 is Restore, Renew, Rebuild - what do those three words mean to you?

These words point to the ultimate redemptive nature of God – that He can take any situation, no matter how broken or ‘beyond repair’ and still bring beauty out of it because that is who He is. It means that we never need to lose hope because God can always do something to redeem a situation!

I’m really looking forward to coming safely back together and experiencing the full event in person!”
