The humidity hit me the moment I stepped off the plane in Nashville. It was the kind of heat that clung to you, making you feel simultaneously sticky and chilled. I was there for a music festival, something I’d begrudgingly agreed to attend with my best friend, Sarah. Honestly, I wasn’t thrilled. Festivals, with their crowds and questionable food and long bathroom lines, have never been my thing.
