Encouraging inclusion through sports since 1994
NEWSLETTER FALL 2019
Years
MESSAGE FROM OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Dear Readers, More and more of you are reading our newsletter each year. For us, that’s extremely encouraging! In fact, we are so confident in our potential that this year we decided to openly announce our intentions to expand our activities to all regions of Quebec and to make every effort to reach as many people as possible. For 25 years now, the Foundation has demonstrated leadership in the field of adaptive alpine skiing. Our mobile unit and wide range of adapted sports activities set us apart. We sincerely believe that we have only scratched the surface of the Foundation’s full potential. I would like to welcome Martine Marois, our new Sports Program Director, to the team. We are thrilled to have her on board. Martine brings strong leadership skills, an excellent work ethic and an impressive knowledge of sports. She joins our dynamic and ambitious team, and together, we intend to continue setting the Foundation apart and improving the quality of life for people with physical disabilities. Thank you for your ongoing trust in us – and above all, for believing in our mission.

It is an immense privilege for me to join the team as Sports Program Director during the Adaptive Sports Foundation’s 25th anniversary. I look forward to sharing my experience as a kinesiologist and physiotherapist, as well as a coach in team building and leadership. I also look forward to meeting you at upcoming ASF events.
