SPORTIME Summer Tennis and Sports Camps It is our belief that in order for children to learn, they must be placed in an environment that is safe, fun and challenging.

SPORTIME’s summer programs challenge a child’s abilities, while enhancing his/her self-esteem and providing positive social interaction. We offer children the finest in sports programming, experienced, qualified teachers/counselors and the safest, most attractive facilities on Long Island.

Special Events and Features Campers enjoy a wide variety of special camp theme days that include T-shirt Tye-Dye, Summer Halloween, Crazy Hat Day, Mardi Gras, Luau, Super Soaker Extravaganza and COLOR WAR. Other special events include summer Carnivals, Camper/Staff Olympics, mid-summer Talent Show, Art Show and our end of summer Slide Show!

Summer season facilities include seven indoor tennis courts, four outdoor tennis courts, an arts & crafts room, an indoor multi-sport facility, a beautiful outdoor heated pool, two outdoor playgrounds, a 9-hole miniature golf course, a gaga pit, a new pre-school village, a new splash zone, a full fitness center and a group exercise studio.

Camp Directors and Staff The success of our summer camps is a testimonial to our dedicated and talented staff. Our professional staff includes experienced directors and coaches, certified tennis professionals, Water Safety Instructors, licensed physical education teachers, emergency medical technicians, early childhood specialists, and caring, enthusiastic counselors. Each SPORTIME staff member takes part in an intense orientation and training program to ensure that all of our campers have the best and safest camp experience possible.

Campers are supervised by certified early childhood teachers and experienced assistants with a 5:1 camper/ counselor ratio. Your child receives personalized and loving attention in a safe and age-appropriate learning environment. The Preschool camp day includes professional tennis and swimming instruction, a variety of multi-sport lessons and games,arts & crafts and more. Our Preschool Camp is truly unique!

Tennis Campers spend fun-filled days learning new skills, participating in intense drills and games and competing in matches and tournaments. The Tennis Program is supervised by SPORTIME Kings Park’s Director of Tennis and by our staff of certified tennis pros and coaches. Tennis campers also participate in supervised swimming, multi-sport games and cross-training speed & agility sessions. In the event of rain, the tennis and multi-sport camps are combined.

Junior Multi-Sport Camp Ages 6-13

New Features

Our summer multi-sport curriculum offers campers instruction, recreation and friendly competition in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including tennis, basketball, floor hockey, soccer, volleyball, swimming, baseball and arts & crafts.

Junior Multi-Sport campers also enjoy our 9-hole miniature golf course, our amazing gaga pit and our brand new splash zone that includes multiple outdoor water slides . Campers also participate in exciting project adventure activities and cooperative games that challenge them to work together as teams to solve problems and achieve common goals.

Travel Thursdays: Our older campers now have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of exciting off-campus trips, including Splish Splash, Adventureland, Island Rock and more!

Splash Zone: Campers can now have fun exploring our three amazing new water features that challenge them physically while cooling them off during the hot summer days.

Preschool Village: Our youngest campers, ages 3-5, will now enjoy brand-new spaces designed to foster physical, cognitive and emotional development - and fun! Our new Preschool Village includes a firehouse, doll house, general store and upgraded playground, plus pedal cars, a stage and comfortable new lunch areas.

Important Camp Information SAFETY: To ensure your child’s safety, all water activities are supervised by certified Water Safety Instructors and lifeguards. Our full-time First Aid Staff will share injury prevention and safety tips each day and will be on-site to handle emergencies whenever camp is in session. We are totally committed to providing a safe, wholesome environment for your child.

TRANSPORTATION AND LUNCH: Parents are asked to provide their child(ren) with daily transportation and a packed lunch, for which commercial refrigeration is provided. SPORTIME provides all campers healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day.

EXTENDED DAY OPTIONS: Early morning, 7:30am-9:00am and extended afternoon, 4:00pm-6:00pm options are available on a weekly or daily basis. Early morning campers enjoy a snack and participate in supervised games and activities.

The extended afternoon option is perfect for campers who choose to enjoy a few extra hours of tennis, swimming and team sports activities.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Enrollment is limited and spaces will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. Spaces will be reserved once SPORTIME receives a completed application and a deposit of $100 per week enrolled or $400 for 20 Day Camp option. All balances are due June 1, 2016. Payment in full is required for any camper who registers after June 1, 2016. Per the above policy, SPORTIME reserves the right to charge the credit card supplied below for any balance due on June 1, 2016. Any request for a refund of camp tuition or deposit (less a $100 cancellation fee) must be received prior to June 1, 2016. No refunds will be given after June 1, 2016. We agree to abide by all program and other rules and regulations which now exist or which may be hereafter adopted or amended by SPORTIME Clubs, LLC (“SPORTIME”), including providing SPORTIME with approprivate medical exams and records of immunization upon request. I further acknowledge and agree that there are certain inherent dangers in participating in tennis, sports and other camp activities, and that SPORTIME shall not be liable for any personal injuries, property theft or damage, or other loss sustained by my child, off, on or about the premises of SPORTIME, or arising out of the use of any facilities, equipment or other property of SPORTIME. In case of accident or injury to my child, and if an emergency contact person cannot be reached, I grant SPORTIME permission to obtain medical attention for my child, if necessary, for which I will be financially responsible.
