Candid Concierge is a unique, one-of-a-kind concept that offers many kinds of assistance to busy people. The company was founded in January 2023 by Michail Loyd, a busy wife and mother of two boys and two Great Danes, who found that she needed help to stay on top of career, her obligations and her life. The thought was that if she could use a little help in some areas, couldn’t others benefit from that as well? And so a shift in perspective sparked a business idea. Now Loyd, along with two employees, is able to offer an entire menu of options that allows others to remove tasks from their plates and enjoy more of their available time with family and friends, doing things they love.

“One main vision in the creation of this company is to free someone of tedious or time-consuming tasks so the maintenance of busy lives can be easier,” says Loyd. Loyd’s past professional roles in healthcare include working as a physical therapy assistant, a regional director for a contract physical therapy company — which required travel to many different states — and, most recently, her role as a licensed nursing home administrator running senior living campuses. Working as a traveling regional director with two sons at home, aged 4 and 1, was complicated. Operating for years in this situation led Loyd to reflect on the words famously shared by Mark Twain: “Don’t dream your life, but live your dream.” With that thought in mind, and a desire to spend more time with her husband and sons, Candid Concierge was created.

The beauty of Candid Concierge is that it is completely customizable and can be tailored to meet the specific needs, from small to great, of the individual. Loyd sets up consultations with clients and designs a schedule to suit their requirements.

Candid Concierge offers house sitting services that include watering plants, mail retrieval, light cleaning, caring for pets and more. When it comes to beloved pets, Candid Concierge feeds them per customer preference and takes them outdoors for a walk or play session.

Often we prioritize time at work and with children, leaving little time for errands.
