THE 5-STEP PROCESS TO STYLE SHELVES LIKE A PRO

Use this proven, step-by-step process to style super chic shelves every time you want!

1. START BIG Bring all your pieces and objects to the room. Make sure you gather more than what you think you need so you can try them in different ways.

Always start with the biggest pieces you want to include and find them a spot on your shelf. Art and mirrors make a fabulous backdrop!

2. HEIGHT & BALANCE Symmetry is crucial. Think about mixing short objects with tall ones to create balance and play with heights.

Take a step back and look at your shelves. Left and right, up and down, and make sure objects are distributed in a harmonious way.

3. THE RULE OF 3 Arrange your objects in groups of 3 to create small vignettes on your shelves. Don't forget to leave some white space around them.

4. USE YOUR BOOKS A lot of them, or just a couple. Books are one of the best accessories you can use to style any space - and they also say something about you!

5. ADD TEXTURE Flowers, plants and any natural objects are a must on your shelves. You can use living plants or small vases with flowers.
