Lodge 30, Taiton youth helps at fall festival
This past Sunday, I attended and helped at the Taiton Fall Festival. I helped serve turkey and dressing plates. Following that, we had our monthly meeting. I enjoy helping out my community!

Lodge 30, Taiton youth enjoys District Six family camp
Hey, Readers!
I was bummed when our district camp was canceled this summer. This was going to be my first time at camp. We were able to have a District Six family camp in September, and I was so excited. I finally got to spend the night at Camp Kubena. I had a blast doing the zip line, high ropes course, and the hay ride. Making s’mores and swimming was fun, too. I am looking forward to this next summer camp! Grady Lange, age 7 —SPJST—
Lodge 30, Taiton youth serves, supports community
Hey, Vestnik Readers!
We had our youth club meeting on Sunday, October 3, 2020. We went over some upcoming dates. That day I worked serving plates-to-go for the annual Taiton Community Center turkey dinner. It was fun to serve plates to-go and see all the people who came out to support the Community Center. Its always fun to see all the people come together and support this community. Lodge 47, Seaton youth ready for Halloween
Dear Vestnik Readers,
I can’t wait for Halloween. I am going to be something scary. I can’t wait to get lots of candy.
School is going good so far. We don’t have much homework. There are a lot of girls that talk in my class.
This weekend is our church fest. We get to help set up. I can’t wait.
It has been rainy, and I wish it would stop. On Saturday, we went to Oktoberfest in Salado. After that, we went to the candy shack in Salado. My dad got the most candy out of all of us. SPJST Lodge 47, Seaton Star Hall is having a trunk-or-treat.
I’ll catch up to y’all in November. Fraternally Travis Ordogne, age 9 —SPJST—
Lodge 84, Dallas Youth Club celebrates Czech Heritage Month
Dear Readers,
The youth of Lodge 84, Dallas took some time out of their celebrating Czech Heritage Month on Sunday, October 18, 2021, to hold a short meeting. The meeting was brought to order around 2 p.m. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance and held a moment of silence for our departed members, troops serving our country, and for those affected by the pandemic.
We discussed old and new business, which included zoom meetings and charity project donations. We also talked about the fall fun day and the Christmas ornament entries. Megan Ruzicka, Kalyne Tucker, and Josh Tucker placed second with their entries, and Ryan Ruzicka and Kendall Tucker received honorable mentions for their entries.
Youth Leader Lynda Novak reminded everyone that zoom meetings will continue and that she will let us know when we would meet in November.
We then adjourned to continue celebrating.
Fraternally, Josh Tucker, age 12 —SPJST—
Lodge 47, Seaton youth visits Fiesta Texas
I went to Fiesta Texas for the first time, and it was so much fun! I was a little scared when I got on the first ride but loved it afterwards. I’m so glad that I gave roller coasters a try. Maybe next time I will go on the big ones! When it got dark, the monsters came out. They were pretty freaky, but it was really fun! Sydney Bilbrey, age 9 —SPJST—
