Saturday, May 4 is the 14th Annual SPJST Car Show and Czech Heritage Celebration at Lodge 47, Seaton Star Hall. Czech heritage displays and demonstrations will be a big part of the day. Lydia Vajdak Faust of was born in Rogers, Texas, the daughter of Henry and Annie (Sefcik) Vajdak. She moved to Snook when she was 12 years old and that is where she lives today — and one of the places that she has made a tremendous and positive difference in the lives of others. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Faust for at least 25 years. I became ac-
quainted with Lydia’s outstanding record of community service when I was Věstník Editor and would read about her involvement with SPJST Lodge 9, Snook and the Caldwell Kolache Festival. There’s so much we can say about Lydia; however, most of you know what a tremendous event the Caldwell Kolache Festival has become . . .
