State King’s Notebook by Nash Campbell • 2018-2019 SPJST State King • Lodge 24, Cyclone - District Two Hello, Vestnik Readers! Here’s a quick update on what I have been doing since Westfest. schoolwork. We celebrated Thanksgiving in November, and the Saturday after Thanksgiving, my brother Cade, my mom, my grandma, and I participated in the wreath laying at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Our youth club also went to the Gaylord Texas Resort in Grapevine for the ICE exhibit and lunch at Rainforest Cafe. We had a really great time. The ICE exhibit theme this year was Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and it was stunning! Continued on Page 19.
