Lodge 180, Burleson gives $17,000 to community organizations

Hats off to SPJST Lodge 180, Burleson for supporting community organizations in 2018 with more than $17,000 in monetary donations. “Lodge 180 has been blessed in many different ways to be able to send monies to all of these organizations as their needs are many,” Lodge 180 President Nancy Kelly said. Several of the donations were presented at the lodge’s Christmas party held Saturday, December 8 at El Fenix Restaurant in Burleson. Those in attendance included Terri Fulton and husband Mike Fulton - Terri is director for Ester’s Safe Haven that received a check for $1,000; Lisa Keese and husband Paul Keese - Lisa is the board president for Harvest House and received a check for $1,000; Christina Boyd and husband Larry Boyd Christina is the director for Meals on Wheels Johnson County and received a check for $1,000; Tammy King and

All Aboard "The Polar Express™" Lodge 88, Houston Youth Club member Jean-Luc Curtis anxiously awaits an exciting ride on Texas State Railroad’s “The Polar Express™” on Saturday, December 8, 2018. The magical story came to life as the train departed the Palestine Depot for the journey to the North Pole. Lodge 88 Youth Club members enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate and a visit from Santa Claus along the ride. More on page 18.
