Thank You to Organizers, Supporters of Premier SPJST Founders’ Day Celebration by SPJST Foundation President Brian Vanicek
Thank you to everyone who had a hand in helping to organize and support the SPJST Founders’ Day celebration observed at SPJST Lodge 1, Fayetteville on Saturday, May 19. Special thanks to the members of Lodge 1, Fayetteville who turned out to work and to Lodge 1, President Sharon Fritsch and Ronnie Pflughaupt for their fantastic efforts in rallying community support to make this day a success! Founders’ Day provided us with a time to reflect on the mission, purpose, and ideals upon which SPJST
State King Austen Holland and Patsy Zabransky, left, and Annie Vahalik, both of Lodge 4, Hallettsville assist Lodge 1 members in the serving line.
was founded. The event was sponsored by SPJST Lodge 1, Fayetteville in cooperation with the SPJST Foundation. Proceeds raised from the event will help
to ensure that the historic lodge hall remains in good condition for present and future generations to experience and enjoy. A delicious turkey and dressing dinner by Peters BB-Q of Ellinger, complemented by sweets from lodge members, preceded the Founders’ Day program which went as follows:
National Anthem by SPJST State King Austen Holland of SPJST Lodge 25, Ennis Czech National Anthem by SPJST State Queen April Dvorak of SPJST Lodge 25, Ennis Continued on Page 5.
