Society Mourns Loss of District Three Director Johnnie R. Krizan
SPJST mourns the tragic and sudden death of District Three Director Johnnie R. Krizan who passed away early Thursday morning, July 24, 2014, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near West. Funeral serv- Johnnie R. Krizan ices were set for Tuesday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at West Brethren Church. Director Krizan, age 66, has been a member of SPJST Lodge 6, Cottonwood for 57 years. He was the 1966 District Three King. He held many positions in both Lodge 6 and District
Three. He served as a delegate to SPJST conventions in 1968 and from 1976 through 2012. He was elected District Three Director in 1996. Director Krizan’s mother Ruth passed away on June 16, 2014. Survivors include sister Jeanette Beseda and husband Gary of West; nephew Matthew Beseda and wife Melissa; niece Leslie Beseda and husband Stephen Nors; great-nephew Lucas Beseda; great-niece Avery Nors; and many other relatives and friends.
