Congratulations to 2014-2015 District Two Royalty. SPJST State YAD August 2 in Temple
SPJST will showcase its youth at State Youth Achievement Day this Saturday, August 2 at the Frank W. Mayborn Convention Center, located at 3303 North Third Street in Temple. All youth participants must register their entries between 9 and 10 a.m. in the lobby of the convention center. Royalty contestants are asked to meet at the stage for a brief rehearsal and further instructions at 9:30 a.m. Youth will compete in a special category contest at 10 a.m. in the dining room. This contest is left a surprise to all competitors until the day of the event. Past special category contests have included play-dough construction, story-telling, and drawing.

SPJST presents allocation to Sokol
Opening Ceremonies at 11 a.m. The day’s program begins with opening ceremonies at 11 a.m. A lunch, which will include a choice of two - beef fajita soft taco, chicken fajita soft taco, or ground beef soft taco with rice, beans, taco fixings, and tea, will be available for $5 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Other food will be available throughout the day.
