Alfred Vrazel elected to Polka Music Hall of Fame
Legendary Texas Polka DJ and Bandleader Alfred Vrazel has been elected to the International Polka Association Polka Music Hall of Fame. This is a great honor for Alfred, who is being recognized for his long-standing service as a polka disc jockey. Alfred, a 50-year member of SPJST Lodge 15, Buckholts, is the first Texan to be elected to the Polka Music Hall of Fame by the International Polka Association, which is headquartered in Chicago. Lodge 20 Granger members visit SPJST Home Office

This award is given to those who have made outstanding contributions over the years to the advancement and promotion of polka music. The presentation will be made at the International Polka Association, Polka Music Hall of Fame and Music Awards Banquet at the 46th Annual Festival and Convention on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at the Embassy Suites in Independence, Ohio.
