Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative and the Lower Colorado River Authority recently awarded a $20,000 community development grant to SPJST Lodge 1, Fayetteville Youth Club. The money will help the group make improvements at Fayetteville’s community baseball field. The youth club took on the initiative to restore the baseball field with new fences, lights, and dugouts. The grant will pay for more seats, includ-
ing access for disabled spectators. “By constructing a new covered seating area, this project will promote community togetherness in creating a better environment for all ages,” said Ronnie Pflughaupt, SPJST Lodge 1 Youth Leader.
