Awards Applaud Accomplishments
any awards were presented at the SPJST Awards Banquet held Saturday, January 29, 2011, at the Frank W. Mayborn Convention Center in Temple. During the afternoon event, many lodges, lodge fraternalists, top-producing sales agents, and youth leaders were recognized in a c c o r d a n c e Keynote Speaker Joe Annotti with the terms of the Spirit 2010 membership campaign. Both lodge and individual awards were presented. The day began with introductions and welcomes by SPJST officials. American Fraternal Alliance President/Chief Executive Officer Joseph J.

Annotti delivered a motivating keynote address. Supreme Lodge President Brian Vanicek then recognized Susan Skrabanek of Lodge 17, New Tabor who was selected as the 2010 National Fraternalist of the Year. A video of her award presentation held in Chicago in September was viewed. President Vanicek then announced SPJST’s 2010 State Fraternalist of the Year as James House of Lodge 202, Jourdanton. Supreme Lodge Vice President recognized Heather Wilhelm of Lodge 38, Kovar for $4,800,000 of insurance issued in 2010. She was presented an eagle trophy. President Vanicek and Vice President McBride then honored fraternalists, lodges, youth clubs, sales agents, and recruiters. Twenty individuals were recognized for the special honor of being selected Fraternalists of the Year from their respective lodges. State Fraternalist of

Czernin Palace Medal Awarded to SPJST President Brian Vanicek
The Honorary Consul General of the Czech Republic Raymond Snokhous presented the “Czernin Palace” Bronze Memorial Medal and Certificate to SPJST Supreme Lodge President and Lodge 24, Cyclone member Brian Vanicek at the SPJST Awards Banquet, held January 29 in Temple.
