Lodge 202, Jourdanton Youth Make A Difference: prepare, serve Czech meal to Habitat volunteers

SPJST Lodge 202, Jourdanton Youth Club members gathered for Make a Difference Day to cook a Czech meal of sausage, Czech potatoes, green beans, rolls, and Czech sugar cookies. After working in the morning to prepare the meal, they then packed up the food and drove to the south side of San Antonio to a neighborhood being built entirely by Habitat for Humanity volunteers. The youth members served their Czech meal to the volunteers working on a house in the neighborhood and to some of the Habitat for Humanity staff members. It was amazing for the youth to see the vast amount of volunteers giving up their time on a Saturday and working on the houses. Each house was at various stages of completion,
