Lodge 154, Fort Worth Youth Club Creativity Leads To Halloween Movie
Creativity is great—especially around Halloween. The creative minds of SPJST Lodge 154, Fort Worth Youth Club members produced a scary movie in the large picture window of Rome Milan’s residence. The movie was titled, “The Monster Who Stole the Bacon and the Candy.” The cast included Father - Rome Milan; Monster - Tal Milan; Children - Dylan Kearney, Athens Milan, Sydney Milan, Sophie Milan, and Squealing Pig - Bacon, a real pig. The movie began with Father sending the children upstairs to bed after a night of trick-or-treating. He explained to the children that a monster will change them into a pig if they sneak more candy into their rooms.
Of course, they do. Monster appears and a big chase scene happens upstairs and downstairs, back and forth. The monster catches a screaming child and turns him into a squealing pig. Father puts on a sheet (ghost) to scare away Monster and children. There is more chasing and squealing. Father finally catches monster — all he wanted was some candy . . . it was a happy ending. The noisy pig changes back to kid (Athens) and gets all the candy he wants. Quote by Sophie Milan which she thought of on her own at the end of movie credits: “No pigs were harmed by the making of this movie!” —SPJST—
