SPJST Financial University kicks off with workshops in Corpus Christi, Temple
Supreme Lodge Donates $60,000 to ENC
SPJST Supreme Lodge members present SPJST Education and Nature Center directors with a $60,000 check at State Youth Achievement Day on August 7 in Temple. The contribution was approved in the Supreme Lodge meeting held July 20 to 22.
Beginning this month, James L. Lee, III, CPA and Wealth Advisor for Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC, and president of SPJST Lodge 246, Morgan’s Point, will begin a series of financial educational workshops for all SPJST members and their invited guests. These educational workshops will be presented in each of the SPJST districts throughout Texas and cover a wide variety of financial topics including Financial Planning Basics, College Planning, Small Business Employee Benefits and Retirement Plan Options, Retirement Income Planning, and Advanced Estate Planning. The first in the series of workshops in September will be Estate Planning Basics. Come learn more about some general estate planning concepts and strategies. Lodge 92, Fort Worth will celebrate its 100th anniversary on Saturday, September 18. More on page 10 and ad on page 29. Pictured is the first lodge home built in 1917. In 1938, members built a new hall on land purchased on Roberts CutOff Road on the west side of Fort Worth.
