Happiest Heart Day Ever!
On February 14, 2009—Valentine’s Day— SPJST Lodge 91, Crosby held a food and supply drive for the Houston area SPCA at the Crosby Wal-Mart located on FM 2100. Officers of Lodge 91 were initially skeptical, but they were overwhelmed with excitement at the generosity of the Crosby community.
In spite of the cold and rain, Lodge 91 collected over $1,000 in monetary donations, 600 pounds of dog food, and approximately 600 pounds in cat food and litter. Dekuji—thank you to everyone who made our efforts a success! —SPJST—
