Valentine Visit

Little Miss Deanna Houpy of Lodge 84, Dallas presents a red carnation to a resident of St. Joseph’s Home. The Lodge 84 Youth Club visited the home on February 11 and delivered valentine crafts and carnations to the residents. Youth also performed a program.

Czech Music and Culture

Czech Ambassador Petr Kolar visited Denton January 26 and 27. During his visit, the Ambassador took part in an official ceremony to unveil a commemorative tablet honoring 60 main sponsors who donated a total of $400,000 for the creation of a new initiative called “The CEFT Frank J. and Hermine Hurta Kostohryz Residency in Czech Music and Culture at the University of North Texas.” The event was organized by the Czech Educational Foundation of Texas.
