SPJST Charters Lodge 207, Iowa Park By Joyce Kotulek, Reporter
On
July 6, Lodge 207, Iowa Park celebrated the chartering of the new lodge. Supreme Lodge President Brian Vanicek called the meeting to order. Everyone stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Brother Vanicek then told the history of how Iowa Park got its name and other information. He also gave some background information about SPJST to the group. The chartering of Lodge 207 began by conducting nominations for Lodge 207 officers. All of the acting officers were elected by acclamation to serve as permanent officers. Treasurer/Reporter Joyce Kotulek FAC Amy Kotulek After President Dennis Kotulek was elected, Brother Vanicek asked Dennis if he would continue with the election of officers. After the officers were elected, Mr. Vanicek and the other Home Office representatives present stated this was the first time they could remember a newly-elected president taking over immediately. Brother Vanicek and District Four Director Billy Rollwitz presented Dennis Kotulek with the SPJST Lodge 207 banner. District One Royalty

A special invited guest was Iowa Park Police Chief and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Klempa.
