SPJST Statewide Barbecue Cook-Off and Summer Fair this weekend at Lodge 47, Seaton SPJST hosts its Annual Statewide Barbecue CookOff and Summer Fair at Lodge 47, Seaton Star Hall this Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15. Seaton Star Hall is a pleasant fivemile drive east of Temple,

just off Highway 53. Festivities begin with a free concert on Friday, July 14 at 8 p.m. with family-oriented entertainment by Johnny Mandell and the Muddcatts. If you missed Elvis and Beatles the first time around, this is your chance to enjoy a real treat! A special classic car display will be set up on Friday evening. Those with classic and/or show cars are invited to display their vehicles, beginning at 6 p.m. Food and beverages will be available during the evening at the hall. Johnny Mandell, first place winner of the Elvis Tribute Competition, brings his MuddCatts to Seaton Star Hall for a free family concert on Friday, July 14. Meet the Muddcatts on page 5.

In addition to the barbecue cook-off, there will be a silent auction to support the SPJST Scholarship Program. For more information, please contact the SPJST Home Office at (254) 773-1575. Also, plan to come out to Seaton Star Hall on Saturday, July 15, beginning at 10 a.m. to enjoy the cook-off and summer fair activities, including games, exhibits,

SPJST Royalty - Ready, Set, Ride!
