SPJST Members Join Hands to Touch Lives Celebrating fraternalism by joining hands in communities across Texas. That was the goal of members in SPJST lodges and youth clubs that participated in Join Hands Day. May 6, 2006 — Join Hands Day — created won-
derful connections between generations while providing opportunities to improve neighborhoods and facilities. Through various projects, SPJST lodges and youth clubs raised their visibility and images and energized their groups.
Join Hands Day is the only national day of service that specifically helps develop relationships between generations as they do good works in local communities. Youths and adults work together, on an equal basis, as they plan, organize, and implement the
day’s activities. Congratulations and thanks to the 22 lodges and youth clubs that reported their projects to the SPJST Home Office with photographs and summaries which appear on pages 14 to 23. —SPJST—
