guests attended the first meeting. Following dinner, Supreme Lodge Vice President Gene McBride opening the meeting and introduced Home Office representatives. He explained the lodge organizational and chartering process. Officers were elected. Vice President McBride presented the officers with guides and informed them of their duties. Supreme Lodge President Brian Vanicek then welcomed Lodge 207 as the 117th lodge in SPJST. He spoke about fraternal activities and introduced State Youth Director John Hoelscher. Congratulations and best wishes to Lodge 207, Iowa Park. The lodge chartering is set for Thursday, July 6 at McBride Steak and Seafood in Wichita Falls at 6:30 p.m. —SPJST—
The Clown with the Crown
This clown recently cheered many Special Olympic participants in her hometown. She is an active member of the National Honor Society, which sponsored the event. She is the proud owner of a big crown. More about her clowning on page 23.
