gist from the Czech Republic, attended a symposium in San Antonio, Texas, December 7 to 13, 2005. During the weekend of December 10 and 11, he was honored by his Tallas, Pospisil and Heisch relatives with two parties where he met many of his other relatives of the Central Texas area including cousins from another Slampa line, Helen Skrhak Filla and her son, Albert Filla. SPJST Scholarship Fund Seeks Donations

100 Pennies Scholarship Fund Drive for 2005-2006 began on October 1. There have been 312 donations made to this year’s drive. Donations to date are $3,997.64. SPJST Memorial donations to date are $2,750. Thank you for your generous donations to the SPJST 100 Pennies Scholarship Fund Drive. Because of your generosity, many young SPJST members will be able to attend or continue with college. Our goal is set for $18,000. We are looking forward to your support in achieving this goal. Guidelines for Giving 1. Donations made by lodges out of lodge funds will be listed as a lodge donation. 2. Collected donations from

a lodge meeting will be listed individually by member’s last name in alphabetical order. Individuals submitting a donation will also be listed by member’s last name alphabetically. 3. Gifts of $50 or more will be printed in bold. 4. Families or groups, which desire names, listed under a particular last name or group name should indicate this on the donation form or letter, otherwise, the names will be listed as individual donations by last name in alphabetical order. 5. 100 pennies donations

many trees and has a small dam on it. There is a large swimming hole where all the Johnson children have much fun in the summertime. Pavel admired the clear stream and remarked that in the Czech Republic, you cannot find many such streams because they have become polluted. He also said his wife, Renata, would think of the area as a very romantic spot! He took many pictures at the ranch. Next, we took a very rough and bumpy ride up the high hill which overlooks the 400 acre ranch. We stopped and dug up a barrel cactus for him, but we forgot it at the ranch!
