JOIN HANDS DAY promotes youths and adults volunteering together What is JOIN HANDS DAY? JOIN HANDS DAY is the annual national event when Americans begin new relationships across generations. This is a day when youths and adults connect as equal partners in planning an activity that fixes or improves a local problem and affirms the values of caring and working together.

SPJST and other volunteer centers throughout the country are serving as community facilitators to help connect individuals and groups, identify neighborhood needs and assist with community connections to civic leaders and dignitaries.
