SPJST recognizes longtime members
SPJST extends its thanks and appreciation to the many members who are achieving membership landmarks in 2005. This week’s Vestnik lists the SPJST members achieving 50- and 75-years of membership in the SPJST and the Age 96 members. Congratulations to these honorees. Members who achieve “The Grand Age of 96” receive special recognition in the SPJST. At this special age, members are considered to have “outlived” the terms of their insurance certificate and are allowed to collect its proceeds. They remain members of SPJST with all the privileges and benefits of the active members are not required to pay any dues or

Save the Date—May 7, 2005 JOIN HANDS DAY JOIN HANDS DAY is a national day of volunteering that brings youth and adults together to improve their own communities. A benefit of the day comes through the friendships that will be made across generations. The new partnerships will be an important first step in bringing more young people into leadership roles in many organizations.
