Spread the Good Word! Supreme Lodge Vice President Gene McBride, left, and Supreme Lodge President Howard Leshikar announce to Home Office personnel that on the morning of July 8, the SPJST had met its 2004 statewide insurance sales quota of 2,345 applications — with nearly six months to go in the year! "Congratulations to everyone who had a part," says Brother McBride. "This marks the fourth consecutive year that we've topped our projections. It reflects a trend to all of our members, prospective members and to the financial market that the SPJST remains a solid and growing business." This is especially good news for lodges. Because the SPJST has achieved its statewide quota, each lodge that achieves its individual quota will be receiving 1 1/2 times its lodge incentive amount at the 2004 Lodge Recognition and Incentive Banquet. All lodges that exceed their quotas by 50 percent will be receiving two times their lodge incentive amount. In January, each lodge received a manual, detailing guidelines of the Join Hands Membership Drive and related incentives.
