NFCA 116th annual meeting this week in California Fraternal organizations will be converging in Indian Wells, California this week at the National Fraternal Congress of America (NFCA) hosts its 116th annual meeting at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa. Founded in 1886, the NFCA is the national trade association for 83 member societies and 36 state fraternal congresses. The SPJST is a member of the NFCA. Special sessions will address a range of communication related topics including communications, field management, investments and state fraternal congress activities. General session discussion will focus on corporate governance, regulatory issues facing fraternals and strategies for dealing with lodge issues. SPJST representatives scheduled to participate in the four-day annual meeting include Supreme Lodge President Howard Leshikar, Supreme Lodge Vice President Gene McBride, Supreme Lodge Secretary-Treasurer Lanita Anglin, District One Director Donnie Victorick, District Five Director Larry Pflughaupt and District Six Director Mike Ahlstrom. —SPJST-
