Newly Designated District Four FICs honored at San Angelo banquet Congratulations to the eight newly certified Fraternal Insurance Counselors (FICs) who were honored at a banquet held July 20th in San Angelo. Since the FIC designation was first awarded in 1937, the privilege to put these letters behind one's name has been a hallmark of professionalism for sales representatives and home office fraternalists. The graduates who were honored in San Angelo began their studies in May
of 1997 and were applauded for their persistence in completing the challenging course. FIC certificates were presented by District Four Director Stanley Broz and State Field Representative Jerry Kucera. Master of Ceremonies for the program was Supreme Lodge Vice President Leonard Mikeska, who was assisted by State Field Manager Gene McBride. Special guests included spouses of the honorees. —SPJST-
