Congratulations to the SPJST's 1997 "Million Dollar Producers" who received recognition at the Lodge Recognition and Incentive Banquet held at Lodge 186, Caldwell on February 28. The top producing sales representatives were from left, front: Kathy Fritz of Lodge 177, Academy; Evelyn Mikeska of Lodge 196, Houston - West; Marian Kadlecek of Lodge 88, Houston; and Martha Broz of Lodge 160, San Angelo. BACK; Freddie Kaluza of Lodge 54, West; Frank Pajestka, Jr. of Lodge 80, Holland; Glenn Kaminsky of Lodge 28, East Bernard; Albin Machu of Lodge 29, Taylor; and Charles Garrett of Lodge 97, Placedo. Contributions to scholarship drive approach $13,000 mark with two weeks to go With a little more than two weeks to go in the SPJST's 1997 100 Pennies Scholarship Drive, gifts to the fund totaled $12,870.80. This compares to the total of $14,743.38 contributed by members, lodges and friends in the previous year's drive. The 1997 Scholarship Drive, which was extended in December, concludes March 31. To express thanks and acknowledge these gifts, the following is the third listing of contributors to the 1997 fund drive. A number of memorial contributions were also directed to the 100 Pennies Scholarship Drive. The memorial contributions will appear in a separate listing.
