Youth Club members perform at Texas Fraternal Congress by State Youth Director Joni Lange On October 19, several SPJST youth club members, along with our SPJST State King Justine Engelke of Lodge 66, Waco, and our SPJST State Queen Karen Bender of Lodge 88, Houston, were in Kerrville, Texas representing their districts and the SPJST during the annual "Youth Spectacular" of the Texas Fraternal Congress (TFC). In addition to presenting their State Youth Achievement Day speeches, Justin and Karen also had the privilege to serve as the emcees for the Youth Spectacular. Appearing with Justin and Karen were the following performers: Representing District One was Lodge 13, Dime Box performing a dance and skit to "Daddy's Money." Performers were Christopher West, Keri Rife, Jay Roberts, Lindsey Wiederhold, Dale Korth, Erin Jatzlau, Emily Jatzlau, Dawn Rackel, Curtis Ford, and Alicia Ford. LESLIE SUZANNE BESEDA Leslie is a member of Lodge 6, Cottonwood and the valedictorian of Penelope High School. She is the daughter of Gary and Jeanette Beseda and the granddaughter of Ruth Krizan and Andrew and Frances Beseda. Leslie is attending McLennan Community College and plans to attend Tarleton State University to major in Accounting/Business.

JAMIE DENISE MEYER

David is a member of Lodge 47, Seaton and a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Music Education. He plans to teach music at the middle school and high school level. David, who's wife's name is Janice, is the son of Louis and Judy Motl and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilton Marek and Mrs. Julie Motl and the late Emil Motl.

Jamie is a member of Lodge 88, Houston and a graduate of S.P. Waltrip High School. She is the daughter of Edward and Mary Meyer and the granddaugher of Evelyn Meyer.

JENNIFER RECK Jennifer Reck is a member of Lodge 40, El Campo - Hillje and a graduate of Louise High School. She is the daughter of Bennie and Patricia Reck and the granddaughter of Evelyn Reck and Milton and Bernice Rohan. Jennifer is attending the University of Texas at Austin where she is majoring in Speech.
