THE FUTURE OF THE SPJST IN THE FAMILY Since its conception in 1897, the SPJST has been devoted to families all around Texas. For an organization like the SPJST to be in existence for nearly 100 years, it must show willingness to change without losing the basic principles that the founding fathers established. More than a hundred years ago two Texans, I.J. Gallia and J.R. Kubena, traveled to St. Paul, Minnesota to attend the C.S.P.S (Cesko-Slovanska Podporujici Spolecnost) Convention. I know I will look back and be so grateful to my parents, other family members, God and the SPJST for pushing me and never giving up on me. They have instilled in me that I am an investment in the future and I will make something of my life. -Brandi Dum SPJST-
