The first three places carried home the trophies and the fourth place winners each received a set of SPJST dominoes. The winners nf the first place lodge -dayers representing Taylor. Eleven players were p in the tournament but only ten were in competition for the lodge trophy and they beat out Lodge 17, New Tabor by only one game—but that's all it takes. Congratulations to all of the players from Taylor for winning first place. My sincere thanks to all who have taken the time play in and to support this tournament. The fun and fraternalism was enjoyed by all players. A "Thank You" to Lodge 15—and especially to their kitchen crew and all of their members for the outstanding job they did – hosting the tournament. Thanks, too, to lodge President Gladys Allison for her help in running the tournament. Finally, a big thank you goes out to all of the members who participated and traveled to play in the State Straight Domino Tournament. We will again, next year, continue to not limit the number of teams from any lodge. You can send as many teams as you wish. We would suggest that each lodge have a practice night to coordinate their teams to decide who will play with who and then mail the State FAC the names of the teams that will be representing your lodge. This will be for both the Straight Domino playoffs and for the "42" contest. The only change will be that there will be two lodge trophies instead of one. One of the trophies will be won by the members from the same lodge that wins the most games and the other one will go to the lodge of the first place winners. Those lodges having the most players will, of course, have a slight advantage. We are looking forward to a large participation in 1995. (Part II—Summary of "42" Tournament Continues on page 5)
