The fraternal services reports as turned in by the local lodges for 1992, showed that almost 500,000 acts of service were performed by SPJST members. This translates into a lot of good will for our lodges and communities. The Society was proud to announce recently that Ben A. Jarma of Lodge 84, Dallas was selected by the SPJST Supreme Lodge as Fraternalist of the Year for 1993. Brother Ben will be honored at the 1994 Lodge Officers Workshop to be held on March 12th at Lodge 47, Seaton. Other state fraternalists receiving honorable mention status for the Fratemalist of the Year honor were Leonard Jansa of Lodge 160, San Angelo; Dale Kessel of Lodge 18, Elgin; Woodrow Marek of Lodge 47, Seaton; and Gladys Yates of Lodge 66, Waco. These members have truly given on themselves as volunteers. We again offer them our appreciation and congratulations. And, to all of the fraternalists nominated by their local lodges across the state, "Keep up the good works that you do." You are all winners!

Membership Recognition Best wishes to our 573 members who achieved 50 years of membership with the SPJST in 1994! Our congratulations are also extended to the 13 members who achieved 75 years of SPJST membership and to our 21 Age 96 honorees in 1994. Recognizing these members at your lodge meetings can add a special feeling to your meetings as well as help you to achieve one of the requirements of the
