What Goes Around, Comes Around Random Acts of Kindness I ran across an article in the January 5 edition of the Dallas Morning News that really hit the spot. It was a story about how "random acts of kindness" are going on all over the country. You read it right-random acts of kindness-not violence-and how such small gestures can make a big difference in our lives.

Among the people quoted in the story is Jenny Rock, a woman from Florida who has been known to put money in expired parking meters and to pay the toll for the car behind her on the expressway.

Many of her random acts of kindness are done anonymously, with no thank-yous, and that's the way she likes it.

"If I do a random act of kindness to somebody, I don't have to get anything back from them directly," she explains. "It'll come back to me .

They'll get something from it, pass it on and on, and eventually it'll come back to me."

I like the way she thinks. Although the article didn't come out, and say it, committing "random acts of kindness," is a lot like fraternalism. It leaves you with a nice feeling inside because, in some small way, you helped to make the world a brighter place.

What's more, according to Gavin Whitsett, a communications professor at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, good behavior can be contagious. "My picture of the world is of masses of people extending gifts to other people, doing favors-and nobody keeping score," he says.

Every day, each of us has the opportunity to practice random acts of fraternalism for our fellow man. The best thing is, many of them don't cost a dime. A simple acknowledgement and "thank you" to a spouse or coworker for completing a routine chore is a great place to start.

Apply a little imagination to the process and you'll find countless ways to make things better for your family, in the workplace, and in your lodge. At that, I want to acknowledge and say thank you fora letter I received last week from Brother Alvin Sefcik, newly elected president of Lodge 172, Rozkvet, in Pasadena. With his correspondence, Brother Sefcik forwarded a copy of a document titled "The New Year Ten Commandments of Human Relations."

They read as follows: 1. Speak to people. There is nothing as nice as a cheerful word of greeting.

2. Smile at people. It takes 72 muscles to frown, only 14 to smile.

3. Call people by name. The sweetest music to anyone's ears is the sound of his or her name.

4. Be friendly and helpful. If you want to have friends, be friendly.

5. Be cordial. Speak and act as if everything you do is a genuine pleasure.

6. Be genuinely interested in people. You can learn to like everyone if you try.

7. Be generous with praise, cautious with criticism. It's a touch of magic.

8. Be thoughtful of the opinions of others.

9. Be alert to give service. What counts in life is what we do for others.

10. Make the other person feel important. Everyone needs to feel that he or she is of worth also.

It Pays to Know ...

Just as "random acts of kindness" are important in maintaining the fraternal environment of our Society, we must also strive to ensure the financial integrity and growth of the SPJST. As such, it is necessary to regularly communicate the opportunities available through our fraternal insurance plans.

Last week in this column, we reviewed the differences between SPJST term insurance and SPJST whole life or "cash value" insurance certificates. Permanent, cash value insurance, offers coverage for the life of the insured at a level premium. Part of each premium payment is for insurance protection, part is set aside and accumulates as the certificate's cash value. Term insurance also has its place. Normally it is purchased as a supplement to whole life rather than as a replacement for it. Both products are excellent vehicles for achieving financial security.

Selecting the right insurance plan for you and your family is an important decision and one that can be made easier when you have all the facts. For more information on the insurance options available to you, contact your local lodge sales representative. Why Were My Pictures So Dark?

In response to a recent reader inquiry: Clear color or black-and-white prints are the best photographs for publication in the Vestnik. Good contrast and an uncluttered background are also important for a good photo.

When photographing people, it's especially important to be close to the subjects. If necessary, move your subjects to an area with a light-colored background to avoid distractions. Likewise, take special care when you are shooting photographs of people outdoors. Harsh shadows can completely hide your subject's face. When shooting outdoors, it's usually a good idea to use your flash attachment to fill in the shadows caused by bright sunlight.

Another Czech Class at Alief Alief Community Evening School, under auspices of AISD (Alief Independent School district), is again offering a conversational Czech course at Hastings High School. The location of this school is between Bellaire Blvd. on the south and Alief - Clodine on the north on the southwest side of the intersection of Cook Road and High Star Drive in the community of Alief. (This formerly independent settlement is located in southwestern Houston).

The first lesson of this 12-week course, designed to develop basic skill in the Czech language wherever it is spoken, will be on February 2, 1994 and,

henceforth, once a week on Wednesdays, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuition, set by the school, will he $50.00 and the instructor will again be John J. Karas of Houston.

Czech Class Offered in Austin A Conversational Czech I class is being offered at Austin Community College in Austin, Texas, beginning January 25 to March 10, 1994. The class will meet on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Reagan Campus.

Anyone interested in learning Czech will be interested in taking this course.

No knowledge of the Czech language is required. Emphasis is on vocabulary and pronunciation. The teacher is Czech born Marcela Nouzovska.

Because of the positive response to the Conversational Czech I and II classes, Conversational Czech III is now being offered by Austin Community College, beginning January 24 to March 9, 1994.

The class will meet on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 9 p.m.. at the Reagan Campus. Prerequisites for the Czech III class are either Czech I and/or Czech II or a speaking ability of the Czech language.

Wallachian/Moravian Studies Program For anyone who is still interested in the Wallachian/Moravian Studies Program scheduled for this summer in Roznov, Czech Republic, please contact Carolyn Meiners (409) 968-3806 by January 31.

This program is a non-profit joint venture between the Czech Heritage Society of Texas and the Wallachian Outdoor Museum as a part of a cooperative cultural exchange program that will enlighten Czech Texans about their heritage.

Classes will cover topics such as Wallachian/Moravian history, geography, language, folk costumes, music, dance, cooking, textile techniques, and traditional crafts. They will be held in English for two weeks from June 6-17. The group will depart on May 31 and return on June 21, allowing time for additional tours or visiting friends and relatives.

Lodge 88, Houston to Sponsor 25th Czech Language Class Hope you all had a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and that you are now ready to get started on Mr. Bill Souchek's 25th Czech Class at Lodge 88.

That's right. Several others and I have been successful in convincing Bill that, just as we can't do without his teaching the class, he just can't get it out of his system and quit teaching the Czech languge.

Accordingly, the 25th Czech Language Class is scheduled to start at Lodge 88 on Beall Street at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. Other class dates will be February 21 and 28; March 7, 21, and 28; April 4, 18, and 25;and May 4.

As before, we look forward to your participating in the class presentations and to your involvement and interest when Bill continues with his latest presentations. I am excited and hope that you join me in looking forward to getting further involved in relearning YOUR Czech language.

Travel to the Czech Republic and study Czech with people from all over the Untied States and Holland. The study tour will be from July 5th to July 29th, 1994. The group leaders will be Thadious Polasek of Texas and Helena Landovska of Prague, Czech Republic.

Housing and food service will be at the dorms of the Agricultural School at Suchdol in the northern part of Praha.

Instruction will be by professors of The Charles University and a linguistic institute in Praha.

Along with the classes, there will be cultural excursions in Prague, including tours of the Prague Castle, picture gal-

leries, the Old Town, and much more.

There will also be out of touwn excursions to: Krivoklat, South Moravia, Telc and the chateau Vranov, Karlovy Var. and Tabor.

You need not have studied Czech to be a member of the group. If you are planning to fly to the Czech Republic, call and ask for the group price and compare.

Letters from the Lodges Attention to Lodge 17, New Tabor Members This year, the SPJST Supreme Lodge is allowing the lodges to send as many teams to the state tournaments as would like to participate. Teams will not have to qualify at the local lodge level.

17, New Tabor Reports on January Meeting

Dear Members, The January 2 meeting was called to order at 2 p.m. by outgoing Vice President Wilfred Hildebrand. The new officers were then installed by District Director Andrew Vavra with the regular meeting following.

Stanley Mrnustik reported that he, Ben Trcalek, Gladys Hejl, Susan Skrahanek, Lola and Andy Vavra bagged the fruit and candy for the nursing home with Stanley, Ben, Gladys and Susan making the delivery to the nursing home.

F.A.C. Sefcik reported that the lights would he installed as soon as the electrical people have time.

Hall manager Gladys Hejl reported on an attempted break-in. Entry was not accomplished; however, two doors will have to be replaced.

F.A.C. Sefcik also reported that we would have a "straight" dominoes tournament on January 15th at 2 p.m. and a

"42" tournament on January 29th, also at 2 p.m.

We will be addressing and stuffing the envelopes for the collection of lodge dues and mailing them to the members on January 25 at 7 p.m.

We will have a spaghetti luncheon on February 27 with a political forum following. Committee members for this event include Bud Petty, Clarence Sefcik, Linda Gaas, Susan Skrabanek and Mica Petty. There will be more information on this later.

We will audit the books after our next meeting.

The next meeting will be on February 6 at 2 p.m.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Taylor SPJST Lodge 29 held its December meeting and Christmas party on Sunday, December 12, 1993. The meeting was called to order by President Melvin Steger. Dorothy Merkord reported that the Senior Citizens group met and had a good time at their Christmas Party.

Youth Leader Donna Vanecek gave her report. She reported that the Youth Club would go to the S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home on December 20th and would also go to the Home Office and Museum on the same day. She said that the youth would have a "lock-in" on January 21, 1994. Donna recognized Ashley Butler and Adam Jezisek for being the top Tom Watt sales people. She also recognized Jason, Chad and Lacy Cervenka for having perfect attendance for the year.

Former President Edwin Ademak installed the officers for 1994. After Santa left, we had a very good meal of turkey and all the trimmings. We also got a chance to visit and enjoy one another's company.

and Mrs. John Hruska Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary Mr.

Mr. and Mrs. John Hruska of Temple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, January 8, 1994, with a reception given by their daughter and son-in-law in the Seaton Brethren Church fellowship hall.

Serving as hosts were Janette and John Couch of San Antonio.

John Hruska and the former Vlasta Mikeska of Temple were married on January 8 1944 at the home of the Rev. Frank Kostohryz.

Brother Hruska is a retired farmer and carpenter. Sister Hruska is a homemaker. Both are members of SPJST Lodge 47, Seaton and have lived in the Central Texas area all of their lives .

The Hruskas also have one grandson, Jake Couch, of California.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, Our first family night of 1994 will feature the progressive "42" dominoes game.

The usual hamburgers and french fries will be available at 6:30 p.m.—so come hungry. The domino games will start at 7 p.m. so we could be through at about 9:30 p.m. I hope that the weather is favorable so everyone can come for an enjoyable evening among friends.

No. 51, Ellinger Re'ports on December Meeting

Lodge

The Ellinger SPJST Lodge No. 51 met for their lodge meeting on December 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ellinger Washateria Building. Ludwig Kocian presided at the meeting. John Mikulenka read the minutes of the previous meeting and gave the treasurer's report.

Mr. Kocian gave a report of the lodge dinner and dance that was held on October 2.

Election of officers was held. Those reelected are: President Ludwig Kocian First Vice President Gus Hruska Secretary-Treasurer John Mikulenka Reporter and F.A.C. Burdine Divin A discussion was held about officers and members receiving flowers for a funeral. Anyone wanting to have an obituary sent to the Vestnik are asked to send it to: Burdine Divin, Route One, Box 57, Ellinger, Texas 78938. She will send it in for you.

66, Waco to Meet January 16 Lodge

Dear Members, Lodge 66 will meet on Sunday, January 16th at 2:30 p.m. The youth will meet at 2 p.m.

Dear Members, The next meeting of Lodge No. 79 is set for Sunday, January 16, 1994. It will be at 2 p.m. and will be followed by the usual "svacina."

A brief summary for 1993 for Lodge No. 79, Corpus Christi: There were 12 monthly meetings; some had a better attendance than others. There were special dinners in May for Mother's Day, in June for Father's Day and in November.

The Thanksgiving dinner was held. The rest of the meetings had a "svacina" after the meetings with plenty of delicious food each time.

Our lodge had two members who were awarded scholarships. They were Sean Majek and Danny Elzner. We had three members, Jerry Elzner, Charlie Majek, Trey Rambo and Newell Rambo, husband of a member, who worked on the fraternal project, "Habitat for Humanity" in San Antonio.

The donations in memory of deceased members to the Scholarship Fund totaled $125. Every month the lodge donated $50 to a charity. This year the donations went to: Shriner Crippled Children Burn Unit, Sokol Prerov in Czechoslovakia, Habitat for Humanity, Sokol - Corpus Christi, Telethon: Children's Miracle Network, Salvation Army, Metro Ministries, Women's Shelter, Ronald McDonald House and Coastal Bend .Youth City. The total of donations for 1993 was $600.

There was a successful clothes and canned food drive which was given to Metro Ministries. The youth club, with the help of some lodge members, participated in the Christmas Tree Forest in the Art Museum of South Texas by decorating a tree with authentic Czech ornaments.

With the able leadership of President Jerry Sijansky, the lodge membership has worked on achieving most of the goals that were set for 1993 in the goals and incentive program. There are many members who have done lots of fraternal activities all through the year. Over all, it

had been a good year for Lodge No. 79.

On December 12, Lodge No. 79, Corpus Christi, Sokol - Corpus Christi, and the local branch of SVPS combined to sponsor a very nice Christmas party.

The program by the Sokol gymnasts was very good—the best it has been for several years. The covered dish supper was most delicious—sure was hard to choose with so much good food. And, of course, the climax of the party was when Santa Claus came in and talked to the children.

Everyone who attended was given a bag of goodies children and adults.

The annual meeting was held on Sunday, December 19. The usual business was taken care of. Two new members were accepted into membership.

They are Jeremy Silvas and Christopher Lynn.

President Jerry Sijansky announced that there will be an officer's workshop on Saturday, March 12, 1994 and also on that day the awards will be given to the lodges who have achieved the goals and incentive program objectives. Members are invited to attend, especially the officers. There was discussion about the salaries of officers. President Sijansky said that the officers need to meet and also need to talk to other lodges for a comparison in pay for officers. This will be done for next year. There was a motion made, seconded and approved that the salary for F.A.C. be $300, starting in 1994. In the past, the vice president served as FAC but now we have a separate office which needs to be compensated. Then, it was election time. Elected to serve for 1994 were: President Jerry Sijansky Vice President Anna Marie Moss Secretary Jill Sijansky Treasurer Milly Elzner Youth Leader Glenda Elzner Fraternal Activities Coordinator (F.A.C.) Glenda Elzner President Jerry Sijansky thanked everyone for their help in the past year.

Two members present had birthdays, Milly Elzner, on December 17 and Carrie Veselka, on December 19. "Happy Birthday" was sung.

Don't forget the next meeting on Sunday, January 16, 1994 at 2 p.m. at the SPJST No. 79 - Sokol Hall on 5502 Kostoryz Road.

This is my last report as an officer for SPJST. Since 1952, I have served as officer, first for Lodge No. 117, Robstown and lastly, Lodge No. 79, Corpus Christi, for a total of 41 years. It is time to move on and let someone else serve as officer.

I still am a member and will continue to be a sales representative.

This was our Christmas "get-together."

We all enjoyed a delicious meal, followed by a brief meeting to attend to necessary business. There were eight present. Our next meeting will be held on the second Monday in January. Members, please make a not of this date and come to our meeting.

130, Dallas Looks Back on 1993 Lodge

With the New Year comes a new page in the book of life, known only to God. May your page be filled with happiness, good health, prosperity and especially, love. And, with this in mind, I'm hoping to commence sending you news of Lodge 130 again.

Over the past several months, my time was spent with my dear mother, Helen Vrla, during her illness. Her death on November 10th left family members and a host of friends with sad, broken hearts.

She was a simple, gentle woman and wonderful mother and will be missed very much. In spite of our sadness, our faith lets us know that she is happy to be reunited with her husband, Joe, in Heaven, who she has missed for 25 years.

They were a rare pair, Helen and Joe, and a living example of what true love is. Her daughter, Helen, also must have welcomed her with open arms.

Remaining her to mourn all of them are her son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Martha Vrla; daughter and son-inlaw, Rose Ann and Eugene Parma; sonin-law Arnold M. Vrla; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one greatgreat-grandchild, plus numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

All who knew her, loved her. Sincere thanks from Stanley, Arnold and me for all your prayers, cards, visits and kindnesses shown her and all the family.

Reporting on lodge activities, I was unable to attend the last several meetings;

however, I was informed that the minutes and other reports were all well accepted.

Past events that have involved lodge members have included the Texas Czech Beseda Dancers participating in the Czechfest at Lodge 84, the San Antonio Texas Folklife Festival and Christmas at Old Fort Concho. An upcoming event is the Czechfest at St. Thomas Catholic Church on January 29th, during which time the Dallas Czech Concert Orchestra will also perform During the November meeting, the membership voted to retain the current officers. Lodge 133, San Antonio Reports on December Meeting Dear Readers, SPJST Lodge 133, San Antonio, held its monthly meeting on December 19, 1993. The members gathered in the St. Margaret Mary Activity Center at 12:30 p.m. to enjoy a delicious ham dinner. A total of 55 members and seven guests were present. Immediately after the luncheon, the meeting was called to order by President Jarolyn Popp. After the preliminary business was conducted, President Popp presented a certificate to Brother Anthony Trilicek, recognizing his outstanding service to Lodge 133 as secretary-treasurer for 1993. Sister Alma Trilicek was also presented a certificate of recognition for her contributions to the social activities of the lodge.

The members were reminded to make contributions to the scholarship fund.

Forms were available. - Brother Trilicek reminded the members that the lodge would match any donations that were made. Brother Pavliska, the vice President, also encouraged the members to fill our the fraternal activity forms that were available.

A report was made by Sister Evelyn Matula on the Kleprliks who are in the nursing home. At the time, Brother Kleprlik was recovering in Nix Hospital.

It was also reported that Sister Agnes Popp was in the nursing home. At this writing, however, she is back home and doing better.

President Popp suggested to the members that New Year cheer baskets should be made for the members in the nursing homes. Brother Emil Matula made a motion, seconded by Brother Schimcek, that all members bring items that these members could use to the next meeting and baskets be delivered. All members are therefore asked to bring items such as lotion, shampoo, kleenex—and any other items that you believe would be appropriate--to our next meeting.

Brother Anthony Trilicek then installed the officers for the new year.

They are President Jarolyn Popp, Vice President William Pavliska, SecretaryTreasurer Margaret Schauffele and Flag Bearer Joe Stryk.

Members celebrating December birthdays were honored. The included Emil Rohan, Grace Rohan, Megan Schauffele, Karen Popp and Viola Kurtz.

Attendance prizes were won by Charlie Dee Kutil, first; Julia Sefcik, second; and Elsie Lochman, third. Split-thePot was shared by Charlie Kutil and Sophie Hull.

The youth club members then gathered to sing Christmas carols for the adult members. To their surprise entered Santa who brought them Christmas bags filled with candies and goodies. Special thanks to Louis Jasek and Annie Spacek for their contribution to this activity.

We invite all members of Lodge 133 to our next meeting which will be on January 16, 1994 at the St. Margaret Mary Activity Center, 1314 Fair Avenue, San Antonio, Texas. We welcome back a member who has rejoined SPJST, Mr. Frank Valka. We missed him for many

years and are happy to have him with us again. If you have a guest you would like to invite, please feel free to do so. We promise that you will have an enjoyable afternoon.

Dear Members and Guests, The lodge met on December 10, 1993 at 6 p.m. for their Christmas meeting and party at the V.F.W. Hall in Katy, Texas.

The meeting was called to order by President Zdenek Nedbalek. After all of the reports of the officers were given and approved, the meeting of the adults was held in one section while the Youth Club held their meeting and made Christmas crafts.

The lodge voted on giving a donation to the Good Samaritan home and to the SPJST Home Office for the 100 Pennies Scholarship Drive. Members also brought food items to be distributed to a needy family at Christmas time. A speaker who talked on the subject of safety was enjoyed by all.

Then it was time for the election of officers. They are as follows:

Jill Stasny After the meeting, everyone enjoyed the Christmas meal which was provided by the lodge. Next came a visit from Santa Claus. The children all had a chance to talk to Santa and receive a gift.

Those of you who didn't make the meeting and party missed out on a good evening of fellowship. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on January 30, 1994 at 2 p.m. at the Katy V.F.W. Hall.

The lodge will furnish the meat, sweets and drinks. Members and guests are to bring a salad or a vegetable dish.

We are wishing Sister Alice Musil a speedy recovery and hope to see her at our next meeting. So, all of you members and guests, mark your calendars and come out for an evening of fellowship and plan making for the coming year.

Our outgoing president, Tennie Walla, had an outstanding record and many accomplishments were completed during her term. Tennie will remain an active and effective member in the future.

Lodge 172 members say, "Well Done," to Tennie.

Lodge 172 is very sound and is eager to succeed according to the SPJST goals and By-laws. Much credit must be given to those individuals who have given their time and labor in the past ten years.

Our New Year's Eve dance for 1993 was a sell out about a week before the dance . Our little group of helpers worked very hard to prepare the black eye peas, corn bread and Bohemian sausage. We were able to serve 900 people in about 25 minutes. Helen Wallace, the entertainment chairperson, advised that she could have sold another 300 tickets if we had the room. Our dance schedule looks good for 1994 with several new bands scheduled to perform.

I would like to mention that we will have our social dinner dance on April 10 this year with Harry Czarenek and the Texas Dutchmen. Only those members who are paying lodge dues will be admitted free.

Lodge 172 has many plans to improve our lodge home and we are looking for support from our members. Please attend the monthly meetings on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p..m.

Youth Letters Section Lodge 9, Snook Youth Club Reports on Active Month

In addition to hosting the District Three Fall Meeting, the first District Three Fraternal Fest was held in Ennis at Lodge 25. Pctured above are the Beseda Dancers from Lodge 130, Dallas, as well as many of the District Three members who were dressed in festive attire.

Dear SP Members, This past month was very busy for our Youth Club at Lodge No. 9, Snook. We held our monthly meeting, prepared Christmas tree ornaments, practiced for our Christmas program and then helped with the lodge supper. We also had a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. We had a lot of fun. Other activities included collecting toys for the Brenham State School and pennies for the Scholarship Fund.

Some of us caroled to the elderly in our community and made wreaths for the rest home. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

We were also reminded of our youth Christmas party, which was also held on December 21 at 6:30. Members brought gifts to exchange, sandwiches and other snacks.

The youth club sends its sympathy to the members of the Havemann Family upon the loss of their grandfather; to the Farquhar Family upon the loss of their grandfather and to the Bender FAmily, upon the loss of their grandmother. A vote was taken and it was decided that a donation will be made to the Lodge 88 Scholarship Fund. A donation of $25 per family will be donated. It was also voted on that in the future, when an immediate family member passes away, a donation of this amount will be made.

Assistant Youth Leader Zalesky has arranged for a crafts workshop on Sunday, January 16. We will be meeting in the Dining Room.

Our next meeting will he on Wednesday, January 19, at 6:30 p.m.

142, Houston Youth Club Welcomes New Member and Reports on January Meeting Lodge

Dear Readers, The Youth CLub of Lodge 142, Houston held their monthly meeting on Tuesday, January 4, 1994. We had a very nice attendance of youth and five adults.

We are very happy to welcome a new youth club members. His name is Michael Schlider. He is six years old and attends kindergarten at Tomball Elementary. Welcome to the Youth Club, Michael.

We were very glad to see Arthur Marques attend our meeting also. He has been absent for a few months and we're glad for him to be able to attend along with his parents.

The youth discussed our upcoming social for the month. We have decided to go ice skating later in the month at the Galleria ice skating rink.

Under discussion also was upcoming dates for the year, including the L.I.T. retreat which will be the first weekend in June. Camp dates, Y.A.D. and State Y.AD. dates were also discussed.

We will be having a cake sale and prize drawing after the monthly lodge meeting on Sunday,. The youth always appreciate any donations and support for fund raisers.

The meeting adjourned and we all went out for pizza.

Pani Marie L. Jandaekova. rozend Polakova se narodila pied 80 lety 28. eervence 1913 v Zeleznern u kralovskeho mesta Berouna, jihozapadne od Prahy. V Beroune vystudovala obchodni akadenii a 14. zafi 1932 se provdala za Antonina J. Jandaeka. Po komunistickem pfevratu v Ceskoslovensku v roce 1948 ode gla se sqmi tfemi detmi "z rudeho raje" do Americke okupaeni zony pora2eneho Nemecka za sqm mu2em, kterST uprchl pied prondsledovanim do ciziny, hned po puei. Man2e1 se mezitim dostal do USA, avgak pro rodinu byla emigrace zkomplikovana, nebot' v tu dobu se na ni pro pozdej gi pfichod do exilu nevstahoval emigraeni zakon.

Jandaekova rodina mohla emigrovat a2 po tamer tfiletem pobytu v uprchlickSrch taborech v Americke okupaeni zone rozbiteho Nemecka.
