Districts Youth Getting Ready for State YAD and Royalty Competition SPJST State Youth Achievement Day (YAD) and Royalty Competition are just around the corner. On August 14, young people from across the state will gather at Lodge 47, Seaton to participate in the annual State Youth Achievement Day. The next day, Temple's Maybom Convention Center will

be the site of the annual Royalty Competition. In preparation, several districts have already hosted regional YADs and royalty competitions. District One and and District Six complete the circle when they host their district contests this coming Sunday, August 1.
