But by organizing the coaching and judging associations, the sport automatically found its identity. "The only reason why I did all these things was that I loved gymnastics," Milan said. "Gymnastics didn't get a whole lot of respect, not like football or basketball. I started in gymnastics when I was six, and I wanted to just give a chance to those who also loved it and wanted to sta y with it." Milan has been honored as the National High School Gymnastics Coach of the Year three times (1977, 1978 and 1980) and was the Texas High School Gymnastics Coach of the Year the same years. He will be there through October 5th, studying the Wallachian people and the history of the region. About 50 percent of the Czech population in Texas have roots here. This is Brother Peter's second report to the Vestnik. I have now spent a month and a half in the Czech Republic-90 percent of the time I have been in Moravia. As the saying goes, the first month you are a visitor ,. after that you need to accustom yourself to;the country and let the world unfold around ‘ou.
